Saucy Idea Earns Top Award

Entrepreneur and mother of two Anila Vaghela was one of many business women celebrating Women in Enterprise Day last week.
Anila is the mastermind behind a Hounslow-based company producing handmade cook-in-curry sauces, chutneys and pickles.
In 1992, Anila began making the sauces at the weekends in order to use them quickly after work for family meals.
Today her business has expanded and her 14 products are on sale at delicatessens, farm shops and farmers markets as well as Fornum and Masons, Harrods and some House of Fraser stores.
Last year she won Gold at the Great Taste Awards.
Early In 2006 Anila contacted the London Manufacturing Advisory Service who helped her as she expanded her business.
